Boy Scout Troop 108

Ronnie, Connor, CJ, Gordon, Matt and Assistant Scoutmaster Ron Westervelt completed their Ordeal this weekend to become the newest members of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s National Honor Society. For more information about the OA, see http://www.oa-bsa.org/

Troop 108 went down to Port Elizabeth very early in the morning to help with a disaster drill. While some of the the pictures look a little scary, everything was under control!

The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated on this date in 1910. One hundred years later, it is still the premier youth organization in the country.

Troop 108 served as host for almost 50 sleds, in one of the best attended Klondike Derbies in recent memory. The weather was perfect (except for a noticeable lack of snow), and everybody learned something new about the Winter Olympics!
